Psalm 27: A musical commentary
By Edgar on Nov 12, 2007 | 878 viewsMy Old Catholic Self I’ve been looking for an MP3 Catholic version of Psalm 27 (The Lord is my light and my salvation) which I hear from time to time when I attend our old Catholic Church. I hadn't found anything at iTunes or other music sites and I was about to give up when...
Thankfully after some major googling, I did come across a wonderful rendition over at conovermusic.org. Though a bit faster, the Conover version is very powerful. The vocals are enchanting and melancholic. I feel a sense of worship while listening to the song.
Download and listen to Conover's version of Psalm 27 here.
Thanks Mr. Conover. Finally, I must say thank you to William Conover who has graciously made his hard work available for free. All artists should follow suit.
All of the MP3s are free to download and all the songs have sheet music available for download as well.
