The Holiness of God by R. C. Sproul

The Holiness of God is such a lovely book. Not only is it a quick read (not in a "I just want to say I read it type of way), but it teaches good theology. Perhaps, a lost theology for many churches.
Is it just me or are we losing our sense of reverence and awe when it comes to God? Isn't he Holy? Is he not set apart from us? After all, he lives in Heaven. We live on Earth. He's pure, just, loving, patient, gracious and kind. We are not. We're evil. Envious. Selfish. Mean.
If you're new to Christianity, The Holiness of God would be a good start!
p.s. The stickers are courtesy of my kids that got to the book a few days before I could hide it.

Excellent book. I think it was the first book I read by Sproul and it really helps us understand the problems of our sinful, fallen nature.
I also really recommend Sproul's Chosen by God, which is a book I may want to take my congregation through. It's very good.
Blessings
Timothy
Yes I also have Chosen by God in my list... :-)
