The Truth |

Matriarchy and goddess-worship originally dominated religion, and later, under Judeo-Christian dominance, patriarchal monotheism dominated. |
Female deities were always linked to their male counterparts, and usually in a subservient role. No other mainstream religious system has ever placed women on a higher level than Christianity. |
|
Men created the Bible and corrupted it with editing, countless translations, additions and revisions. |
The only "changes" to the Bible that have taken place have been an ever-more-faithful rendering & translation of the original Hebrew & Greek based on the vast manuscript sources. |
|
The early church attempted to eradicate up to 80 books from the New Testament in order to protect itself and to hide Jesus' marriage in addition to His other human traits. |
Most of the Bible was well known and in use two centuries before Constantine, a time when the early church had already dismissed these 'missing books' as containing distortions and fanciful aberrations derived from the first-century gospel sources. |
|
The Council of Nicea met to review & debate the date of Easter, bishops' roles, the administration of sacraments, and Jesus' divinity. Until Nicea, Christians viewed Jesus as simply a great and powerful man and a prophet, but a man nonetheless. |
The Council of Nicea debated whether Jesus was "eternal" versus "created", and they agreed 300 to 2 that he was co-eternal with the Father. Many New Testament passages as well as the earliest Christians & church fathers attest to Jesus' Deity, e.g., "I and the Father are one" (John 10). |

“ Christianity honored the Jewish Sabbath of Saturday, but Constantine shifted it to coincide with the pagans’ veneration day of the sun (Brown, 232-3:)” |
It is clear that Christian observations were and always have been held on the “first day of the week” (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 16:2; cf. Rev. 1:10), and there is ample evidence of Sunday being observed well before Constantine. |

Jesus had to have been married because it was forbidden for a Jew to be unmarried by Jewish tradition and rabbinic opinion. |
Marriage for Jewish men was not obligatory during Jesus’ time, nor has it ever been. Other single Jewish men you may know include Jeremiah, the wilderness prophet Banus, and John the Baptist. There is no evidence in any historical records that Jesus was married. |

The Gospel of Mary Magdalene claims that Jesus asks Mary to lead his church. The request makes Peter jealous. |
This book lacks any scholarly evidence for its historicity or lineage to Mary Magdalene. It does not make any references to Jesus’ marriage to Mary Magdalene. |

The “Secret Of the Holy Grail” |
The earliest reference to a holy grail is from 1191/1202, and the whole idea is derived from Celtic myth, folklore, & other legends. |

The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in the 1950s hidden in a cave near Qumran in the Judean desert…and the Vatican tried to suppress the release of the scrolls. |
The evidence concerning the Dead Sea Scrolls has been written about in so many books, journals, and articles, many on a lay level, that Brown can only make his erroneous statements with a complete disregard for the facts. There is nothing in the Dead Sea Scrolls that promotes either traditional or deviant Christianity. The community at Qumran responsible for the Scrolls was not Christian, but Jewish. The Scrolls were found in 1947 not the 1950s. |

Christianity has been corrupted by pagan symbols, e.g., Egyptian sun disks for halos on Catholic saints, pictograms of Isis nursing for images of the Virgin Mary nursing Baby Jesus, the miter, the altar, the doxology, and communion, the act of “God-eating”, etc… |
“The taking over of symbolism is true – but signifies ideological victory, not borrowing....Why was this done? It was done because this was an age when art usually was imitative (Paul Maier).” Just as with Christmas & Halloween, the Christian Church has provided Christians with alternatives and rival celebrations to pagan holidays or events. |

The pre-Christian God Mithras – called the Son of God and the Light of the World – was born on December 25, died, was buried in a rock tomb, and then resurrected in three days. |
Not surprisingly, scholars of Mithraism know nothing of any of this. If anything, Mithraism borrowed its story line from Christianity and not the other way around. |

The Gospel of Philip describes Jesus&rsquo kissing Mary Magdalene, His companion, which in Aramaic means spouse |
Scholarship has utterly rejected this work as having any authentic historical recollections. Also, the book was written in Greek and not Aramaic. The apostle Philip did not write this book. There is no mention of a marriage or where the kiss was. |

Noah was an albino. |
There is no biblical or historical evidence for this. |
